Engine category
Used Engines
Take-out engines with recorded mileage where available.
These listings are replacement assemblies sold independently of the original vehicle manufacturers. Year, make, and model get you close; VIN and engine code confirm whether the assembly is the one to ship.
Used take-out engines are listed with the dress, mileage, and application notes we actually have—not a generic “low mile” slogan. Mileage, when recorded, is a donor figure. It is not remaining life and it is not a compression test. Photographs and the specification sheet show pan, intake, and accessories so a shop can compare them to the engine coming out.
Use this category when the job can accept a used assembly and the vehicle’s engine code, oil pan, and harness are known. Year/make/model only narrows the aisle. VIN, stamped code, and emissions hardware still have to match before freight is quoted. If a listing does not show a fact you need, ask before the crate is scheduled.
