Returns & Refund Policy

Overview

This Returns & Refund Policy covers change-of-mind and other ordinary returns of merchandise we sold. It is separate from a warranty claim. A return is a request to send back merchandise the customer no longer wants, or merchandise that was delivered in error or with verified shipping damage as described below. A warranty claim is an allegation that a delivered engine has a covered defect. We do not treat an installed engine as a normal buyer-remorse return.

14-day return request window

You must contact us to request a return within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery. The window is measured from delivery, not from the order date. Requests made after that window are not ordinary buyer-remorse returns, without prejudice to valid warranty claims or other rights that cannot be excluded by law.

Eligible buyer-remorse returns

Buyer-remorse returns are allowed subject to the conditions in this policy. The engine must not have been installed, operated, disassembled, modified or materially altered, and must remain in substantially the condition delivered, including original pallet, blocking, and banding where those materials were provided.

Ineligible ordinary returns

Ordinary buyer-remorse returns are not available where the engine has been installed, started, internally disassembled, or materially altered; where required parts that shipped with the unit are missing; or where the merchandise was returned without authorization to an address we did not provide. Unauthorized inbound freight does not create a refund.

Installed or operated engines

Once an engine has been installed, operated, disassembled, materially modified, or materially altered, ordinary change-of-mind return eligibility ends. That does not eliminate a valid warranty claim for a genuine covered defect. If you believe the engine has a covered defect, stop using it where continued operation may cause further damage and follow the Warranty Policy.

Return authorization (RMA)

Contact us before sending an engine back. We issue Return Authorization / Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) instructions. Please provide the order number, product/SKU, reason for return, delivery information, and relevant photographs where useful. We do not automatically reject an otherwise valid claim because you used different wording. Do not ship an engine back without return instructions. The return destination will be provided with the approved return authorization. Pallet freight is often routed to a receiving facility that may differ from our public correspondence address.

Packaging and pallet requirements

Return the engine upright on the original pallet with blocking and banding suitable for freight. An engine rolling in a pickup bed is additional damage, not a return. Photograph the packed unit before pickup.

Buyer-remorse return freight

On an approved buyer-remorse return, return freight is the customer’s responsibility. We will provide the authorized return destination and any booking instructions with the RMA. Do not arrange inbound freight to an unpublished address.

15% restocking fee

Buyer-remorse restocking fee: 15% of merchandise price.

Approved buyer-remorse returns are subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the merchandise price. The restocking fee is calculated on the engine/merchandise price, not on taxes collected where applicable. This fee does not apply to a legitimate approved warranty claim, to a seller-error incorrect item, or to verified shipping damage handled as described below.

Original outbound freight

Original outbound freight is non-refundable on buyer-remorse returns.

Seller sent an incorrect item

If we ship a materially incorrect engine despite being supplied the accurate required vehicle information, there is no restocking fee and we are responsible for reasonable corrective or return freight. Stop. Do not install the unit. Send photographs of the identification, pan, and intake.

Damaged freight

Verified shipping damage is not a buyer-remorse restocking event. Note visible damage on the delivery receipt, photograph packaging and product, and contact us promptly as described in the Shipping & Delivery Policy. No restocking fee applies to verified shipping-damage resolution handled through us and/or the carrier.

Defective product and warranty

Verified defective product that is covered under the Warranty Policy is handled as a warranty claim. No buyer-remorse restocking fee applies to a legitimate approved warranty claim.

Refund inspection and processing

Returned merchandise is inspected when received. Refund processing is generally 5–10 business days after the returned merchandise is received and inspected, using the original payment method/process where practicable. Restocking and non-refundable outbound freight are deducted on buyer-remorse returns as described above.

Cancellation

You may request cancellation before dispatch without a restocking fee. If payment has already been received, we refund according to the original payment method/process where practicable. After dispatch, cancellation is treated as a return under this policy. Actual nonrecoverable freight already incurred may be treated according to this policy and applicable law.
