Origin and geography
Orders are prepared from our Texas operation. The freight origin ZIP used for automatic quotes is the origin configured in our freight settings (currently Garland area ZIP 75040 unless that setting is later changed). Automatic freight is available for supported destinations in the contiguous 48 states and Washington, DC. Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, military (APO/FPO) addresses, invalid ZIP codes, and other unsupported destinations are not auto-quoted.
How freight is calculated at checkout
For a single supported unit, checkout calculates freight from the destination ZIP and the product freight group (standard engine, heavy engine, or engine-and-transmission package). The amount is calculated on our server and shown before you place the order. A figure typed in the browser is not used. The displayed freight is the freight associated with that supported single-unit order. We do not add a later mandatory residential or liftgate fee on top of that displayed amount for a supported automatically quoted order.
Residential delivery and liftgate service
You must still tell us whether delivery is a commercial address with a dock or forklift, a repair shop, or a residential address, and whether a liftgate is required. Those answers help us arrange the correct truck. They do not currently change the freight price shown at checkout. Residential delivery is included in displayed freight. Liftgate service, where required, is included in displayed freight.
Handling time
Handling time is generally 2–5 business days after the order is accepted and required payment is completed. Handling business days are Monday–Friday. We do not promise weekend handling. For Merchant and scheduling purposes, orders placed after 12:00 PM Central Time are treated as received the next handling business day.
Transit estimate
Estimated transit time is generally 2–7 business days after dispatch. Carrier delays, weather, remote delivery areas and circumstances outside our reasonable control can affect delivery. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date.
Multiple engines
Orders containing more than one engine or powertrain package currently require a custom combined freight quote. Checkout will not treat an automatic single-unit figure as the final freight for a multi-engine cart. Contact sales or use chat; the cart is kept so quantities can be changed or a quote requested.
Unsupported destinations
Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, military addresses, international addresses, and invalid or unknown ZIP codes require a custom freight quote. We do not invent an automatic shipping amount for those destinations. Place Order is not available with a fake freight figure.
Palletized freight and delivery coordination
A complete engine or long block travels on a pallet or crate. Someone capable of directing the driver should be present. Delivery appointments are used when the carrier or the receiving location requires them. Keep the phone listed on the order available during business hours. Once the shipment is in the carrier network, we share the tracking reference we are given when it is available.
Inspection on arrival
Inspect the crate, bands, and pallet before you sign where reasonably possible. Photograph the packaging and the engine as it sits. If the crate is crushed, wet, or leaning, note the damage on the carrier delivery receipt.
Visible freight damage
Please report visible freight damage as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 48 hours, with photographs of the packaging, pallet, and product. This is a practical notification request so we can work with the carrier promptly. Failure to report within 48 hours does not automatically eliminate all legal rights.
Concealed damage
If damage is found after the driver has left, report it promptly once discovered, with photographs of the engine and the packaging. Keep the pallet and blocking until the claim path is clear. Do not install a damaged engine.
Incorrect address and failed delivery
Freight that is mis-addressed does not re-route itself like a small parcel. Confirm street number, suite or bay, and ZIP before the crate is released. Changing the destination after pickup, missed appointments, or failed delivery can add cost and delay. Those additional carrier charges, where incurred because of an inaccurate address or an unattended delivery, may be the customer’s responsibility to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Delays outside reasonable control
Weather, carrier network congestion, remote access, missing phone numbers, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control can affect dispatch and delivery. We will share the information we have. We do not invent a guaranteed calendar.
