These listings are replacement assemblies sold independently of the original vehicle manufacturers. Year, make, and model get you close; VIN and engine code confirm whether the assembly is the one to ship.
Complete-engine listings are dressed assemblies as photographed: intake, front accessories, and related hardware when they are on the unit in the gallery. “Complete” is a dress description, not a promise that every sensor, manifold, or flywheel from the donor is included. If a part is not in the photos or the spec sheet, do not assume it ships.
Use a complete engine when the install wants to reuse less of the outgoing dress. You still match oil pan, mounts, bellhousing pattern, and engine harness to the vehicle. A complete Mustang Coyote is not automatically an F-150 Coyote. Generation and calibration still have to agree.
